Marriage holds great importance in Islamic culture and is extensively addressed in various verses and narrations, with neglecting it being frowned upon. Marriage brings about effects and benefits such as personal and social development, while abandoning it will lead to numerous harms including spiritual and physical damages. This article aims to explore the reasons for the delay in marriage using a descriptive-analytical method based on divine revelation and processing, identifying the influential factors in the current society and ultimately examining three key factors as the most significant in this area along with their related components. In cultural factors, aspects such as the fading of spiritual values and inappropriate cultural norms are discussed, while social factors include elements like increased crime, social and familial damages, and prolonged education. Economic factors encompass issues like lack of suitable employment, rising inflation, and the economic empowerment of women.
