Abstract

The family, as a social institution responsible for the upbringing of individuals in the ethical dimension, takes shape based on the marriage of man and woman and develops through the production of offspring. Shared life with religious role models and ethical frameworks in family relationships is a success in promoting the better development and growth of ethical values in the family. Therefore, the family institution has a special place and sanctity from an Islamic perspective and is an effective factor in the continuity and strengthening of ethical values among spouses. By familiarizing oneself with Islamic guidelines and observing etiquette, individuals can have a significant impact in this area. The present research aims to examine strategies for strengthening ethics in the family based on Islamic teachings in both verbal and non-verbal dimensions, using a method of divine revelation with descriptive-analytical processing. If ethical values are strengthened among spouses, it will lead individuals towards perfection and play a significant role in their eternal happiness. Some verbal strategies for strengthening ethics in marital relationships include using beautiful words, speaking kindly, and avoiding disrespect, animosity, and humiliation. Non-verbal strategies include mutual respect, showing affection towards each other, and avoiding discord and misconduct
